W/S Rolling 30's Harlem Crips
DMB Johnny Rose is a super known rapper from the Rollin 30's, sadly he is currently locked up serving time.
BASIC INFO —
The Rollin 30's Original Harlem Crips, mostly known as Dirt Gang, are a super active street gang located on the West Side region of South Los Santos San Andreas. Their history for the most part dates back as far as the 1960's making them one of the longest standing still established Crip neighborhoods in Los Santos, which mainly runs from Roy Lowenstein to Innocence Blvd, between Davis and Rancho.
The R30's formally known as the Harlem Godfathers a while back consist of several cliques such as 35th Street, 37th Street, 39th Street (The street Johnny Rose grew up on), Avenues, and Denker Park. The 30's are considered the top three largest Crip gangs in Los Santos, behind the Rollin Sixties Neighborhood Crips and the Eight Tray Gangsters. The 30's fall under the Rollin O's umbrella as well.
The R30's aren't just in Los Santos, they are reported to be in New York, Harlem, as well as Belize as most of their members are of Belizean descent. According to Law Enforcement they are between 700 - 1000 active members till this day but of course this may not be accurate.
MUSIC —
If you do not know already the Rollin 30s have a history of rappers and even have quite a bit of rappers currently today. They are known for their musical capabilities and have been known to have lots of talents. One of the most notable rappers from the R30's was a rapper by the name of Keke Loc, also known as Lil Keke Loco, was an African-American rapper from the Westside of South Los Santos San Andreas. Keke Loco made his debut in the 1990's with N.O.T.S. (Niggaz Off The Streets) the True Blue Trilogy thru Ain't Jokin Records. He is from (39th and Denker Ave) so you could say 39th St is pretty known for it's generational rappers and 39st is still jumping even till this day with new upcoming rappers coming from that block.
Keke Loco was involved in a feud with members of from the Bloods & Crips (Rap Group) in the 1990's. Keke Loco made a diss track entitled "bustas on waxs" where he took aim at Bloody Mary, Redrum 781 (APG), Awol (KPCC), Big Wy. (CMB), Sin Loc (KPCC), and many more. Keke Loco considered the members from (Crips & Bloods) Bangin On Wax, a disgrace to all real "Bloods & Crips", I guess you wouldn't be surprised because in this time period no Blood set was really getting along with any Crip set.
^ Current day rapper Johnny Rose locked up.
Johnny Rose is a known rapper from the 39th street clique but sadly he is locked up. He is known for putting the hood on and he's done multiple songs with his homies from DMB - Dirt(y) Money Boyz, which is a group in 30's that's mainly responsible for rap and music but they are also known for other things as well. He's also collaborated with other artists like $tupid Young, whom is a rapper from Asian Boyz Crip. The song was named 'Cuz Walk' where Johnny Rose was featured and jumped in and spit a verse along with his other homie from 30's by the name of: Wxld Chxld another rapper from DMB.
OPERATION THUMBS DOWN —
LOS SANTOS — Over 800 hundred law enforcement officers and agents served dozens of arrest and search warrants this morning in Operation Thumbs Down, an 18-month investigation that targeted members and associates of the Rollin’ 30s Harlem Crips, a South Los Santos street gang that ranks among the Los Santos Police Department’s top targeted street gangs, announced André Birotte Jr., the United States Attorney in Los Santos; Bill Lewis, the Assistant Director in Charge of FBI in Los Santos; Charlie Beck, the Chief of the Los Santos Police Department; and Mike Feuer, the City Attorney in Los Santos.
Thirty-five defendants currently charged with federal and state violations are in custody following this morning’s Operation Thumbs Down, an investigation initiated in 2012 to identify and target high-level members of the Rollin 30s Harlem Crips, a gang known for violence in the community it claims as its territory. Several remaining defendants charged at either the state or federal level were already in custody on unrelated charges or are considered fugitives currently being sought by task force members. The investigation was dubbed Thumbs Down by the task force in reference to hand gestures used by this gang, including two thumbs pointed upward, representing the “H” in the word “Harlem.”
The Rollin 30s Crips is a known multi-generational violent gang that operates primarily in South Los Santos and has ties to other gangs with whom they are known to have violent disputes. The Rollin’ 30s is composed of three factions, known as “cliques” or “sets,” identified as The Avenues, Denker Park, and 39th Street. Each clique claims different geographical territories within the gang’s overall claimed territory, and has its own respective leaders or "shotcallers," who direct the gang’s criminal activity. Law enforcement estimates there are between 700 and 1,000 Rollin 30s gang members. During Operations Thumbs Down, task force members targeted these “shotcallers” within the Rollin’ 30s’ criminal enterprise.
Twenty-one defendants were named in federal indictments returned by a grand jury in United States District Court in Los Santos. The federal indictments charge the defendants with a variety of narcotics and weapons violations, including: possession of cocaine base (“crack”) with intent to distribute; conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine base (“crack”); felon in possession of a firearm; maintaining drug-involved premises; and unlicensed dealing in firearms.
