I) Creating your group thread
This step is optional, if you believe that you have enough members for a faction and that you're going to be creating a long term faction, you may directly jump to step 2.
Creating a group thread can be performed on hollyhoodroleplay.proboards.com/ , a group thread is similar to a faction thread but can be created by anyone at any time.
A group has no ingame faction script, no UCP scripts, and is considered to have an ICly limited power over other factions when it comes to the aspects of fear roleplay, retaliations & wars. Being a group means that you're also ICly limited in resources and manpower. Character kills on the entire group can be granted to existing factions if a war had to be started.
A group is not allowed any Property Management request as a group.
All your members will be able to post screenshots on your group thread, which will help you to apply for a faction. You can decide to keep your group forever and never apply for a faction.
Groups can still be closed at any moments by illegal faction management if your roleplay does not match our continuity, or if you're not bringing good roleplay to the server.
Legal groups cannot be any major project, such as a new LEO faction, a government department, etc.
II) Creating your faction
1) Submit your thread
In order to create a faction, you must create your faction thread here (you may copy paste your group thread) hollyhoodroleplay.proboards.com/ with the full and completed version of your thread (only you will be able to see your threads, other players are not able to). In addition to that, it's important that you include the goals you have for the faction, where you would like to see it a few months from now, along with any other information about the concept you want to share. Make sure to include all the members of your faction with forum names, discord names and character names.
Your group thread must also be included if existing.
The requirements for a faction to be submitted are :
A minimum of 5 active members
At least 1 month of active game time on the server is recommended unless your group is known for creating long standing factions
Until you reach these goals, you'll need to stick to a group.
We may restrict these requirements even more in the future if we still see too many faction requests for short term factions / non well thoughts projects.
2) Faction Management will contact you on the thread, with questions or changes to make to your thread/faction. If these changes are not made within 1 week after our request, the faction will be denied. If your thread quality and/or concept is judged too low by FM, it will be denied outright.
Your group thread roleplay will be reviewed.
3) Faction Management will permanently accept or deny your faction. If you started roleplaying and your faction got denied, you may be forced to disband it ICly or stay as a group only. We may also require you to create a group for X months first.
4) Your faction will be scripted in-game once accepted, contact an admin level 3+ to do so.
A faction review may take up to 2 weeks.
